Welcome to Quayside Marina Southampton
Quayside Marina Southampton is a small friendly marina and boat yard based on the Itchen River in Southampton two miles north of the river mouth, offering traditional boat yard services and pontoon berthing. We have 70+ berths all serviced with power and water. There is ample free car parking for all members.
The River Itchen flows into Southampton Water, which is very popular with yachtsmen as it is reasonably sheltered for cruising in most weather conditions. Southampton Water then flows into the Solent where a multitude of boats of all types cruise and race.
Berthing at Quayside Marina means that it is possible to cruise to Ryde, Portsmouth, Cowes, Yarmouth, Beaulieu or Lymington, in one day.
Quayside Marina yard facilities means it can provide all year round lifting with a crane, boat mover and tractor on site making it simple to plan your lifting needs in and out of the water at very short notice – all at excellent value for money prices!
The bustling city of Southampton is only a 15 minute walk away from Quayside Marina and here you will find three shopping precincts full of shops and cafes of all types.

Stingher Ribs
Stingher Ribs are conveniently based in the south coast’s boating capital of Southampton and home of the Southampton Boat show.
Edward Pedley of MRL first started importing Stingher Ribs into the UK from Italy in 2004. These are built and designed by Giuseppe Risolo with his son Andrea and they have been building Ribs since 1987. They are always striving to improve their Ribs and it shows with the strength and finish that they achieve.
In 2006 MRL moved to Southampton Dry Stack, which is the UK’s largest Dry Stack, with undercover storage, and direct frontage onto the River Itchen.
During that time MRL and Southampton Dry Stack have forged a close and trusted relationship, and in late 2020 both Edward Pedley of MRL and Bill Knight of Southampton Dry Stack decided to form a partnership selling the World renowned Stingher Ribs and together taking it on to new heights.
